CGCL Management meet with Ministry of Energy Officials

On Tuesday 2, September 2026, Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) CEO, Keio Kato, General Manager Plant Operations, Sieunarine Ramkumarsingh and Corporate Affairs Manager, Elizabeth Warner Julien met with the Honourable Ernesto Kesar, Minister in the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries,  the Honourable Clyde Elder, Member of Parliament for La Brea, and other technocrats from the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI), to provide a business update on CGCL’s 2025 FY Performance and 2026 Plans.

CEO Keio Kato updated the team on the major highlights of the company’s operations during FY 2025 and discussed its financial outlook for 2026. Mr. Ramkumarsingh presented on the technical side of the business and provided further details on the company’s HSSE performance and upcoming Scheduled Turnaround (STA).  Corporate Affairs Manager, Elizabeth Warner Julien, closed the presentation, with an overview of the Human Resources and Corporate Affairs performance for 2025 and plans for the current fiscal period.

The meeting was cordial, and at the conclusion of the engagement, CGCL was commended by both Ministers for its commitment to safe operations, and its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance and humanitarian footprint, within the community of La Brea and environs.
