CGCL Celebrates Top SEA Achievers at CEO’s Awards 2026
On Tuesday, 15 September 2026, Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) held its annual CEO SEA Awards Ceremony. The event recognizes the academic excellence of the top-performing students from Primary Schools within the organization’s fenceline community of La Brea.
At the ceremony, Mrs. Josann Mulchansingh-Christopher, Corporate Communication & Social Investment Administrator, warmly welcomed guests, including CGCL Management, Principals, Teachers, Parents, and the Awardees. Mr. Oji Borel, Community & Stakeholder Relations Officer, delivered the opening remarks, during which he congratulated the students and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence. He also stated that education is one of the pillars of CGCL’s Corporate Social Responsibility framework and described it as a vehicle for transporting young people within the La Brea community towards a brighter future. Each student received the CEO’s Trophy of Excellence, along with a $2,500 Unit Trust Corporation certificate to support their future educational pursuits. CGCL’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Keio Kato presented the awards and congratulated the students on their noteworthy accomplishment.
