Christmas Community Hamper Drive 2023

The festive season is upon us and what better way to celebrate than to bring some Christmas cheer to those most in need? Well, that’s just what a team of volunteers from Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) did at the company’s Annual Christmas Hamper Distribution Exercise on Saturday 9th December 2023 – warming the hearts of both young and old throughout its host and fenceline communities. Christmas Hampers overflowed with essential food items and festive treats for all to enjoy, while the children enjoyed gift bags filled with all the popular Christmas goodies one can desire. The team of volunteers which included the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Pedro Arasa, its Chief Administrative and Strategy Officer, Mr. Gota Shimizu, several Managers and members of staff, went house to house meeting and greeting residents and adding a touch of holiday spirit to everyone they came into contact with. Through this and many other community-related initiatives, the company continues to demonstrate its commitment to living its CSR Mantra of Caring, Giving, and Changing Lives…one community at a time.
