CGCL Sponsorship Empowers Young Athletes at GOODWILL Swimming Championship in Barbados.

Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) recently sponsored five promising swimmers from our fence line community of La Brea, who proudly represented Trinidad and Tobago at the 29th Goodwill Swimming Championship in Barbados, August 15 to 17, 2025.

Thanks to the company’s support, these athletes were able to travel and compete on a regional stage, delivering exceptional performances that reflected their discipline and commitment. Stand out performances included:

Nikosi Baptiste captured multiple medals, achieved personal best times, and contributed to setting new meet records, underscoring the immense potential of this rising talent.
Luke Sutherland returned home with three medals (one silver and two bronze), a testament to his hard work and growing skills in the pool.
