CEO Hosts Founding CGCL Member

On Tuesday, 9June 2026, Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) hosted Mr. Chikara Jitsumatsu, President of Mitsubishi Venezuela C.A., on a courtesy visit to the company.

FUN FACT: Mr. Jitsumatsu was seconded from the Mitsubishi Corporation from 2013 to 2017 and was one of the founding members of CGCL.

During the visit, Chief Administrative and Strategy Officer Yasufumi Kawano, provided an update on the company’s operations and business performance, including preparations for the upcoming Scheduled Turnaround (STA) and current challenges being faced within the industry.

The engagement concluded with a facility walkabout and a visit to the product pipeline corridor. Mr. Jitsumatsu expressed his appreciation for the company’s progress and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting CGCL in his role as President of Mitsubishi Venezuela.
