CGCL’s Back-to-School Backpack Distribution Event

On Monday 11 August, Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) held its Back-to-School Backpack Distribution event where book bags and stationery supplies were distributed to 40 of our community’s students from CGCL’s two Learning Support Centres (LSCs) in La Brea. The care and generosity of our staff members in ensuring that this was a memorable occasion for the recipients was beautiful to witness.  Backpacks were stuffed with not only stationary supplies, but novels, maps, toys, stickers, journals, inspirational pins, bookmarks, keychains and much more, guaranteeing that each child felt valued and appreciated. The smiles and connections shared between staff and students today, were a testament to the positive impact we continue to make as a corporate entity, in the lives of these young, vulnerable children…and is worthy of a heartfelt THANK YOU, TO OUR CGCL SPONSORS!.
