CGCL Empowers La Brea’s Youth with Career Fair
Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) recently hosted an interactive and engaging Career Fair event on Thursday 13th March 2025, with the students of its two Learning Support Centres established in collaboration with the La Brea Association for Innovation (LBAFI). This initiative aligns with CGCL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Education Pillar and underscores the company’s dedication to educating, nurturing and inspiring the next generation of young professionals. Spearheaded by CGCL’s Corporate Affairs Department, the event aimed to equip the children with essential knowledge about various roles and functions within CGCL’s organization and the qualifications, skills, and experiences required to successfully deliver these roles in the industry.
Delivering presentations on behalf of CGCL were:
- Sasha Kanchan – Senior Process Engineer
- Rayadh Mayrhoo – Process Engineer II
- Manzur Ahmed – Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer I
The team shared their personal career journeys and provided students with practical advice on career progression and reinforced the message that exciting career opportunities are within reach for the youth of La Brea.
