Embassy Representatives Visit CGCL for Courtesy Call and Plant Tour with CEO Keio Kato

On Tuesday, April 8, Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) welcomed three esteemed representatives from the Embassies of Japan in Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago for a courtesy visit to its facility:

  • Mr. Shitau Miura – First Secretary, Embassy of Japan in Barbados
  • Mr. Hideichiro Nakamura – Second Secretary, Embassy of Japan in Barbados
  • Mr. Atsushi Saga – First Secretary, Embassy of Japan in Trinidad & Tobago

During their meeting with CGCL CEO Keio Kato and Chief Administrative and Strategy Officer Gota Shimizu, the delegation engaged in discussions covering a broad range of topics, including an overview of CGCL’s operations and the upstream, midstream, and downstream activities by the various energy players.

The visit concluded with a guided tour of the plant, where the delegation was impressed by the scale and sophistication of CGCL’s operations. They also commended the company’s strong safety performance, talented workforce and commitment to excellence.
