CGCL CEO Joins Ambassador to Judge the 8th Annual Japanese Speech Contest
For yet another year Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) partnered with The Embassy of Japan and the Centre for Language Learning (CLL), UWI St. Augustine to host the 8th Annual Japanese Speech Contest on November 29, 2025. Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Keio Kato, served as one of the competition’s judges. He was joined His Excellency Dr. Akima Umezawa, Ambassador of Japan, and Ms. Asahi Kunito of the Japan Foundation in Mexico. During the opening ceremony, Ambassador Umezawa acknowledged CGCL’s continued support and sponsorship of the event.
