CGCL Celebrates Top SEA Achievers at CEO’s Awards 2025
On Monday, September 29, 2025, Caribbean Gas Chemical Company Limited (CGCL) proudly celebrated the academic excellence of the top performing students in the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examinations, from the five Primary Schools across our host community of La Brea. The awardees (Top SEA performers) were as follows:
- Seong Baptiste – Rousillac Hindu School
- Sarah Nandlal – Rousillac Presbyterian
- Kathlyn Dass – La Brea RC
- Anaya Timothy – Brighton AC
- Tevin Peters – Vance River RC
The ceremony, held at CGCL’s facility, saw each awardee receive the coveted CEO’s Trophy of Excellence along with a $2,500 Unit Trust Corporation certificate to support their future educational pursuits. CGCL’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Keio Kato, and General Manager of Plant Operations, Mr. Sieunarine Ramkumarsingh, personally presented the awards. The proceedings were facilitated by Corporate Affairs Manager, Mrs. Elizabeth Warner Julien, who highlighted the importance of education and encouraged students to maintain their commitment to learning and achievement.
Parents, principals, and teachers joined in the celebration, applauding the dedication and success of the young scholars. The event not only showcased the talent and determination of the students but also reaffirmed CGCL’s commitment to advancing education and community development in La Brea and surrounding areas.
