Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Limited and National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) are the Equity Investors of CGCL.

 

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Limited (MHI) has a vast  amount of experience in constructing chemical, power and  environmental plants. MHI’s experience includes the building of: two  (2) methanol plants in Venezuela, five (5) in Saudi Arabia  and one (1) in Brunei

 

Role in Project: Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor (responsible for construction of the Methanol and DME plants)

 

National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) is a limited liability company wholly owned by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. It is designated as the government’s prime mover in  the natural gas  sector.  Since  its  establishment in  1975, NGC  has  played a leading and  key  role  in the  development of Trinidad and  Tobago’s  natural gas  industry. The NGC Group has  a diversified portfolio of business interests, and  is primarily engaged in gas transportation and  compression, merchant gas trading and  investment holdings in downstream gas-related businesses.
